The Love Like Lyndsey Loved Foundation was formed in our hearts on December 7th, 2016. But was brought to reality 4 months later on April 17, 2017. Our purpose is to carry on the love of Lyndsey by raising funds to give back to Lyndsey's community with helping the families of special needs.
Scholarship Details
- Offered through the Love Like Lyndsey Loved Foundation in memory of Lyndsey Logsdon
- Created in 2020 to recognize the special needs community and those who serve it
- Awards four scholarships of $1,000 each year
- Supports students pursuing education at accredited two-year, four-year, or vocational programs
- Designed to continue Lyndsey’s legacy of kindness and generosity within the community
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a graduating senior from a high school or homeschool program in Volusia County, Florida
- Applicants may be ESE students pursuing further education or vocational training
- Applicants may also be students pursuing a related field to support individuals with special needs
- Must plan to attend an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational program
- Must demonstrate dedication to serving or advocating for individuals with special needs
Application Process
- Confirm that you are a graduating senior in Volusia County, Florida and meet eligibility requirements
- Ensure you plan to attend an accredited college, university, or vocational program
- Prepare application materials demonstrating your connection to or support of the special needs community
- Complete and submit the scholarship application according to the foundation’s instructions
- Submit all required materials by the scholarship deadline to be considered for one of four awards
The Love Like Lyndsey Loved Scholarship was created in 2020, to honor the memory of Lyndsey. Our intention is to recognize the special needs community and those dedicated to serving them. Love Like Lyndsey Loved will grant four scholarships worth $1,000.00 each to graduating seniors from high school or home school in Volusia County, Florida.
