The Maine Community Foundation (MaineCF) seeks to promote respect for all people. Through its scholarships, the community foundation supports all students regardless of their race, age, ancestry or national origin, sexual orientation, gender, physical or mental disability, religion, or geographical region within the state of Maine.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must meet the eligibility requirements of one or more Maine Community Foundation scholarships
- Must be pursuing post-secondary, graduate, or other eligible educational goals
- Must submit all required application materials
- Students unable to complete the FAFSA because of visa or immigration status may request a FAFSA requirement waiver
Application Process
- Complete the Maine Community Foundation scholarship application.
- Submit all required supporting documents, which may include transcripts or grade reports, letters of recommendation, and financial aid information.
- Provide a FAFSA Student Aid Report if required, or request a waiver if you are unable to file the FAFSA because of visa or immigration status.
- Review your application for completeness and accuracy.
- Submit all application materials by the published deadline.
