FCS’s annual Martin Rasnick Memorial Research Scholarship honors the legacy of Martin Rasnick by furthering the education of a graduate or undergraduate student working toward biological resources conservation.
Scholarship Details
- Award amount: $1,000
- Open to undergraduate, graduate students, and early-career professionals
- Submission deadline: May 31st
- Funds may be used for education, research, and related expenses
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be enrolled in or have completed a degree program in biology, ecology, urban planning, or a related field
- Must be pursuing or interested in a career in environmental conservation or consulting
- Must be a full-time student (if currently enrolled)
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (if a student)
- Early-career professionals in environmental conservation are also eligible
Application Process
- Complete the scholarship application form.
- Submit academic transcripts.
- Provide an original research paper or abstract (minimum 1,500 words).
- Submit one letter of recommendation.
- Ensure all materials are submitted by May 31st.
