Eligibility Criteria
- Medical students appointed to Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine who apply for financial aid
- Predoctoral PhD students enrolled full time in an eligible Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences program
- Students enrolled in Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences demonstrating financial need
- Undergraduate students meeting federal financial need requirements for the Pell Grant
- Parental financial data considered for need-based awards
Application Process
- Apply for admission to the appropriate Mayo Clinic academic program
- Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid if applicable
- Apply for financial aid through Mayo Clinic for scholarship consideration
- Provide required financial documentation including parental data
- Maintain eligibility and performance standards for renewal
Scholarship eligibility is reviewed for all appointed students who apply for financial aid. Parental data is used in the evaluation of the financial need component of scholarship awards. These awards are renewable subject to continued meritorious performance. These awards may be adjusted if the student receives external funding equal to 100% of their cost of attendance.
