The MHG Compassion Scholarships provide financial support to students in grades 8 through 12, helping them overcome personal, financial, and social barriers to achieve their academic and personal goals. Scholarships range from $500 to $1,500, offering flexible support based on individual student needs. Scholarship Details

  • Eligible counties: Kern, Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Ventura

Application Process

  1. Download and complete the Parental Consent & Terms and Conditions Agreement
  2. Submit a personal essay including:
    • Self-introduction
    • Reason for applying
    • How the scholarship will support your goals
    • Conclusion
  3. Provide a transcript and letter of recommendation
  4. Optional: Include supporting documents related to financial hardship or special needs
  5. Optional: Submit a creative piece (e.g., poem, artwork, short story) reflecting your personal journey
  6. Submit all application materials by May 15th
  7. Attend the award ceremony on July 26th to receive scholarship funds
