- Open to students in grades 8-12
- Minimum GPA requirement of 2.5
- Eligible counties: Kern, Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Ventura
Eligibility Criteria
- Must demonstrate financial hardship
- Facing educational, cultural, or social barriers
- Personal challenges or extraordinary circumstances
- Application may be submitted with third-party assistance from teachers or religious/monastic educators
Application Process
- Download and complete the Parental Consent & Terms and Conditions Agreement
- Submit a personal essay including self-introduction, reason for applying and how the scholarship will support your goals
- Provide a transcript and letter of recommendation
- Optional: Include supporting documents related to financial hardship or special needs
- Optional: Submit a creative piece (e.g., poem, artwork, short story) reflecting your personal journey
- Submit all application materials by May 15th
- Attend the award ceremony on July 26th to receive scholarship funds
