Just like Miss America, Miss America’s Teen has a scholarship program. Since its founding in 2005, Miss America’s Teen has paid nearly $1.5 million in cash scholarships for young women to over 200 colleges and universities across the nation. Tuition waivers have also been granted to program participants by dozens of institutions. The application process must begin within one year of the candidates' high school graduation. For full-time students living on campus, this scholarship will cover room and board. A full-time student is considered 12 credit hours or more to be eligible for room and board coverage. Applicants must be US citizens.
Applicants should participate in this program because they can: gain valuable experience and develop life skills; explore new interests and discover new opportunities; make lifelong friends with motivated women; foster a positive, self-motivated mindset to achieve their goals; receive recognition for their efforts and their community; and win scholarship funds for college and graduate school.
