Every fall and spring, we offer the Balanced Man Scholarship to freshmen and sophomore men of in order to meet the most outstanding future leaders at Montana State University. This scholarship is open to all male-identifying rising and current freshmen and sophomores who attend Montana State University.
Scholarship Details
- Open to freshmen and sophomore men at Montana State University-Bozeman
- No fraternity membership required to apply or receive the scholarship
- Includes an interview process for selected applicants
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a male-identifying freshman or sophomore attending Montana State University-Bozeman
- Must demonstrate leadership, academic achievement, and community involvement
- Must show commitment to personal growth and balanced development
- Must provide current cumulative GPA information
Application Process
- Complete the scholarship application form.
- Provide cumulative high school or college GPA information.
- List extracurricular activities, work experience, and community involvement with dates.
- Demonstrate leadership, service, and personal growth through application responses.
- Participate in an interview if selected as a finalist.
There is no requirement to join the fraternity to be eligible to apply for or to win this award. That being said, strong applicants for this scholarship are often an excellent fit within the membership of our fraternity. This scholarship process helps MSU's chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon meet individuals who can contribute to SigEp's legacy of academic achievement, community involvement, brotherly love, and Building Balanced Men.
