To be eligible for the Monterey Bay Officer Spouses' Club Scholarship, applicants must: be the dependent of an active duty, retired, Reservist, National guard, veteran, and/or deceased military personnel from any branch; show community involvement or volunteerism in a community of their choosing; either be pursuing a degree or certification at an accredited U.S. post secondary institution on either a full-time or a part- time basis, or be enrolled in a vocational or technical school or certification program from an accredited U.S. institution; and have resided in the Monterey County area within the last 5 years.
The Monterey Bay Spouses' Club is a 501 c(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving our community through local philanthropic endeavors, connecting military spouses, and providing scholarships to the families of service members. Creating social connections and promoting community involvement continue to be the cornerstones of our club. We continue to look to the past and allow the history of the spouses club to inspire us, and we look to future with the hope of continuing the legacy of friendship and charity.
