Scholarship Description

As a McAuley Scholar, you will engage with a supportive community alongside staff and peer mentors, who are committed to achieving success through service, mentorship, leadership, professional skill development, and educational opportunities.

Scholarship Details

  • Full tuition and fees are covered by combining the scholarship with institutional and state aid
  • Additional costs for room, board, and books may be covered by federal aid, student loans, or a small balance paid by the student
  • Scholars join a community that values service, mentorship, and leadership development
  • Opportunities for professional skill-building and educational growth are included
  • Supports a purposeful and impactful academic experience

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be enrolled as a student at Mount Mercy University
  • Must demonstrate a commitment to service and community engagement
  • Must participate in mentorship and leadership development activities as part of the scholarship program
  • Must maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout the program

Application Process

  1. Apply for admission to Mount Mercy University
  2. Complete the scholarship application form through the university’s scholarship portal
  3. Provide documentation of financial need, if required
  4. Submit any additional materials, such as essays or letters of recommendation, as specified in the application
  5. Ensure all materials are submitted by the scholarship application deadline

The Catherine McAuley Scholarship will be combined with your institutional and state aid to cover your entire tuition and fees cost. Room, board, and books may be covered by federal aid, federal student loans, or a small remaining balance paid for by the student.
