The Mountaire Farm to Table Community Scholarship is open to students in our local communities in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and North Carolina, who are attending school to pursue careers in agriculture, the trades, or related fields.
Scholarship Details
- $3,000 scholarship for students pursuing agriculture, trades, or related fields
- Open to students in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and North Carolina
- Available to high school seniors and college students in two-year or four-year programs
- Requires nomination by a teacher or school guidance counselor
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must reside in one of the eligible states: Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, or North Carolina
- Must be a high school senior or currently enrolled student in a two-year or four-year college
- Must be pursuing a program of study related to agriculture, trades, or a related field
- Must receive a nomination from a teacher or school guidance counselor
Application Process
- Confirm that your field of study and residence meet the scholarship requirements
- Request a nomination from a teacher or school guidance counselor
- Obtain and review the Mountaire Community Scholarship Nomination Form
- Ensure your nominator submits the completed form by the December 31st deadline
Students interested in agriculture or the skilled trades must be nominated by a teacher, guidance counselor, or career advisor. This scholarship is designed to encourage and support the next generation of leaders who will contribute to the future of agriculture, skilled trades, and the communities we serve.
