The Music Center SPOTLIGHT Program is a scholarship and training in the arts program, which offers cash scholarships up to $5,000, master classes with world-renowned artists, performing arts workshops and more. Students must be a Southern California high school student who attends a public, private, parochial, online or home school. Your home base must be in one of these counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Riverside, Kern or San Bernardino. Ballet students need to check the category rules page for out of state residency exceptions. Acceptable categories include acting, ballet, non-classical dance, classical voice, non-classical voice, classical instrumental or jazz instrumental. The dollar amounts will vary, depending on which level of prize is being awarded.
