Music for Youth is offering the Bob Genualdi and Dorothy Straub Scholarship with a June 5th deadline. The $1,000 scholarship is awarded yearly to students who reside in Fairfield County to help support their musical endeavors in high school or college. The scholarship has been established in memory of Dorothy Straub and Robert Genualdi.
Eligibility
- Must be a high school musician
- Must play a musical instrument
- Must be a resident of Fairfield County, Connecticut
Application Process
- Complete the online application
- Submit a video recording of 2 pieces of your choice.
The final round applicants will be asked to have a zoom meeting with the Scholarship Committee Representative. This scholarship is awarded annually at the end of June.
This scholarship recognizes students who have shown exemplary dedication and focus on their musical studies. Please make sure to include current and future music plans, as well as the activities you have engaged in this past year.
