Scholarship Description

The Quad City Chapter #50 of the National Association of Women in Construction has scholarships available for students interested in pursuing a career in the construction industry (e.g. architecture, landscape architecture; interior design; civil, structural, mechanical, electrical engineering; drafting; or construction management.) The core purpose of NAWIC is to enhance the success of women in construction.

This fund may be used at any college or vocational school. To qualify for the scholarships, the applicant must enroll in a construction industry related program in a university, college, or vocational/trade school. A college applicant must be a full time student with a minimum of 12 hours enrollment per semester/trimester/quarter and must have a minimum grade point average of 2.75 (based on a 4.0 system). The applicant cannot be a member of NAWIC.
