The NAWIC Founders’ Scholarship Foundation (NFSF) assists in providing the construction industry with trained employees through higher education and certified training programs.
Scholarship Details
- Over $250,000 awarded annually in construction-related scholarships
- Individual award amounts start at $1,000
- Some NAWIC local chapters may also offer additional scholarships
- Supports associate and bachelor’s degree programs in construction fields
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be enrolled in a construction-related associate or bachelor’s degree program in the U.S.
- High school seniors and graduate students are not eligible
- Must have at least one academic term remaining
- May be enrolled full-time or part-time
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 required
- School must be located in the United States
Application Process
- Complete the scholarship application form available on the NFSF website
- Submit the application and all required attachments via email by March 6th
- If your school only mails transcripts, email us for mailing instructions
- Ensure official sealed transcripts are received by March 6th
- Wait for notification from the NFSF Administrator regarding your application status
NFSF was founded in 1963, is a self-supporting scholarship program, and is a 509(a)(3) designated organization so contributions are tax deductible as a charitable donation. We have the capability to administer scholarships to college or trade school students for your company or local NAWIC chapter.
