Applicants for the Sherman & Frances L. Teller Teaching Credential Scholarship must be K-12 educators pursuing a multiple or single subject teaching credential (including special education and ESL). The applicant must be enrolled at a University of California or California State University campus in the greater Los Angeles area and the University of Nevada Las Vegas. In order to apply students, must: Currently be enrolled or accepted in Spring and planning to attend next Fall; Live and attend school in Los Angeles County; and Meet the application requirements.
This scholarship is available every Fall and Spring term. Students can apply to up to two scholarships and re-apply every semester. Funding is distributed directly to the schools on the following school term. Funds are paid in full and are not fee specific. Students in their last term are not eligible to apply. The Student Aid Report is no longer required to demonstrate financial need. Financial need will be determined based on essay.
