Scholarship Description

The Nebraskaland Scholarship is a one-time/one-year merit/needs and incentive based scholarship beginning at $2,000. Bonus amounts up to a total of $500 may be applied for notable academic or leadership achievements that occur during the school year. (See below for examples.) To qualify, applicant must: Be a Nebraska native and current Nebraska resident; Have attended all four years at a Nebraska public high school; Be at least 50% Native American or 50% African American; Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher; and Be enrolled in a two or four year Agriculture/Natural Resources or Ag Tech degree program at a Nebraska college or university.

This is a questionnaire/short answer style application. A paragraph of three to five or more sentences is required for each question. Note that some questions have more than one part. Make certain to answer all parts of each question. There is an online form below. If preferred, an essay may be submitted, however all of the questions found on this page must be answered completely in the essay. An essay must be written in Times New Roman, size 12 font and must be mailed to Nebraskaland Scholarship within the application deadline.
