The New Jersey State Golf Association promotes and preserves the traditions of the game of golf in the State of New Jersey. Today, more than 250 member clubs, courses, and organizations represent nearly 65,000 members of the NJSGA.
Scholarship Details

- Supports member club caddies pursuing undergraduate education
- Scholarships are renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study
- More than $1 million in scholarships is awarded annually
- Since 1947, more than 3,700 scholarships totaling over $20 million have been awarded
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a caddie at a participating New Jersey Golf member club
- Must plan to attend or be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate college or university
- Selection is based on academic achievement
- Must demonstrate financial need
- Must have a strong record of service and commitment as a caddie
Application Process
- Complete the New Jersey Golf Caddie Scholarship Foundation application.
- Submit academic records and any required supporting documentation.

The New Jersey Golf Caddie Scholarship Foundation has been a shining light for over 78 years in providing financial assistance to deserving member club caddies pursuing higher education. Since 1947, it has provided more than 3,700 scholarships totaling more than $20 million. For the 2025-26 academic year, the Foundation will provide 194 caddies with over $1 million in scholarships.
