The New Mexico Engineering Foundation offers both university and high school scholarships. University scholarships are primarily offered in the spring and are designated for students majoring in engineering, math, or science at a New Mexico college or university. High school scholarships are offered in the spring and are designated for graduating high school seniors at New Mexico high schools who plan to pursue undergraduate degrees in engineering, math, or science. Individual scholarship criteria vary.
The New Mexico Engineering Foundation helps curious and talented students cultivate their passion in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. NMEF supports engineering and science education and champions its progress by granting scholarships, and enriching educational programs and initiatives in tangible ways. NMEF achieves its goals through cooperative efforts among those in the engineering profession, engineering societies, secondary schools and the engineering and engineering technology colleges.
