All first-time scholarships require the student to be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and be enrolled full time (12 hours or more per semester). New Mexico Tech gives academic scholarships, or merit-based aid, solely on the basis of academic achievement. The Presidential Scholarship is a renewable scholarship for up to four years. Students must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.5. The number of awards each year will vary.
