The Newark Rotary Club is proud to offer college scholarships to deserving students who will graduate and reside in Newark, Delaware. Newark Rotarian's work year-round to raise money for this scholarship and we consider this activity to be one of the highlights of our Rotary year.
The scholarship will be presented after graduation to a student who shows exceptional character and qualify as judged by grades, class rank, SAT scores, community and school service, extracurricular activities, a written essay, and financial need. Our scholarship is for tuition purposes and will be paid to the college/university of the recipient's choice in two installments: one at the beginning of the freshman year and one before the start of the second half of the freshman year.
