In collaboration with Nightwing and The AFCEA Educational Foundation, Nightwing is seeking a scholarship recipient that aligns with their mission on advancing national security in the cyber intelligence community. The Nightwing Scholarship will award one $5,000 scholarship to an outstanding student pursuing a degree in Cyber Intelligence.
Scholarship Details
- One scholarship awarded in the amount of $5,000
- Available to undergraduate and graduate students
- Funds are applied toward ongoing higher-level academic education
- Offered in collaboration with Nightwing and The AFCEA Educational Foundation
- Supports students pursuing degrees aligned with cyber intelligence and national security
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be enrolled in an accredited community college or four-year college or university
- Undergraduate applicants must be sophomores, juniors, or seniors or pursuing a master’s degree
- Must be majoring in a cyber intelligence or closely related STEM field
- Must maintain a minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA
- Must demonstrate strong academic performance and aptitude in STEM subjects
- Qualifying majors include cybersecurity, computer science, cyber security engineering, information security, applied information technology, cyber intelligence and security, cybersecurity risk management, intelligence analysis, or artificial intelligence
Application Process
- Complete the online scholarship application when it opens on October 1
- Submit an official transcript including completed coursework and grades
- Arrange for electronic transcript submission to the designated email address or mail an official copy if required
- Obtain at least one letter of recommendation from a professor at your current institution
- Ensure the recommender submits the letter in PDF format by email
- Write and submit a brief essay of 250 words or less describing financial need
- Confirm all application materials are submitted and complete by the stated deadline
This scholarship will be applied toward the student's ongoing higher-level academic education. Applicants must attend an accredited Community College or four-year college/university. The Nightwing Scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate students.
