The Nuclear Information and Records Management Association (NIRMA) offers an annual scholarship to graduate students enrolled or accepted into an accredited U.S. institution in a program that prepares them for a career in records and information management. This scholarship aims to promote awareness of Nuclear Records and Information Management (RIM) as a career path and attract talent to the nuclear industry.
Scholarship Details
- $1,000 scholarship award
- Includes free registration for the Annual NIRMA Symposium
- Symposium takes place July 27th to July 29th
- Event is held in San Antonio, Texas at the Hotel Contessa
- Focuses on nuclear information and records management education
Eligibility Criteria
- Interest in information or process management
- Interest in nuclear or associated industries
- Willingness to participate in professional education and networking opportunities
Application Process
- Review the NIRMA scholarship opportunity and symposium details
- Complete the scholarship application as directed by NIRMA
- Submit all required application materials by the stated deadline
- If selected, register and attend the Annual NIRMA Symposium
The winner will be celebrated at the NIRMA Symposium (held in San Antonio, TX at the Hotel Contessa July 27-29). When possible, the winner shall attend the NIRMA symposium as a guest. If attending in- person, the winner will receive a certificate on stage at the Symposium, winner must be present to accept award certificate. The winner is not required to attend the Symposium to be eligible for the award.
