Scholarship Description

The NJCPA Scholarship Fund provides one-year college scholarships to accounting students at New Jersey colleges who are currently in their second year (community college), sophomore or junior year or in their senior year and entering an accounting-related graduate program in New Jersey.

Scholarship Details

  • Sponsored by the NJCPA Scholarship Fund
  • $2,000 scholarships for college sophomores and second-year community college students transferring to a four-year college
  • $6,500 scholarships for college juniors entering their senior year and seniors entering an accounting-related graduate program
  • Scholarships are awarded for one academic year
  • Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, essay responses, and a personal interview

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a New Jersey student pursuing a degree in accounting
  • Must be a college sophomore, second-year community college student transferring to a four-year institution, college junior entering the senior year, or senior entering an accounting-related graduate program
  • Must attend or plan to attend an eligible New Jersey college or university
  • Must satisfy all scholarship application requirements established by the NJCPA Scholarship Fund

Application Process

  1. Complete the NJCPA Scholarship Fund application.
  2. Submit all required academic records and supporting documentation.
  3. Prepare and submit the required scholarship essay.
  4. Participate in a personal interview if selected as a finalist.
  5. Submit the completed application by the published deadline.
