Students are automatically considered for scholarships upon admission. A separate application is not required. In order to receive scholarships at Northern Arizona University, applicants must: be an incoming freshman; meet Arizona Proposition 300 Public Program eligibility requirements; must not have received a baccalaureate degree; must be enrolled full-time; and must attend the Flagstaff Mountain campus. The offer of admission must be accepted and the enrollment deposit paid by May 1 for the following academic year. If awarded, high school transcripts must be submitted per the instructions provided in the award letter.
The Northern Arizona University President’s Resident Tuition Scholarship is an award given to Arizona residents. Applicants must have a 3.5 GPA. This award can be combined with other outside tuition scholarships as long as it does not exceed the cost of tuition. It cannot be combined with other merit-based tuition scholarships offered at NAU. Must maintain a 2.0 GPA.
