NSPE-NH offers an annual state scholarship(s). One or more scholarships are awarded depending on the performance of the scholarship fund for that year. Scholarships for engineering students are made possible through the generous contributions of NSPE-NH members, Donor Corporations, and fund-raising activities. The intent of the scholarship is to encourage growth and career development at the state level within the areas of General Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering professions.
Scholarships are granted to high school seniors or college undergraduate students who are currently, or will be enrolled in an ABET-EAC accredited engineering program. Applicants must be in-state (NH) residents and preference will be given to students planning on attending a New Hampshire university or college. In general the scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academic achievement, and general community involvement. Apart from the application, applicants must also submit a recommendation letter and a statement (maximum 200 words, double-spaced) presenting their interest in engineering and the occupation they would pursue after graduation.
