NFP is proud to provide financial assistance to dedicated and deserving nursing students through our annual scholarship program. Students at all levels of study who are pursuing a nursing degree at an accredited school in Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply. Scholarship Details
- Offered by the Nursing Foundation of Pennsylvania
- Supports students pursuing nursing degrees or certifications
- Open to all levels of study from LPN through doctoral programs
- Application window runs from January 1 through March 31
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be enrolled in or accepted to an accredited nursing school located in Pennsylvania
- Open to current nursing students and incoming students beginning their nursing education
- Must be pursuing a nursing credential such as LPN, ADN/ASN, BSN, MSN, DNP, PhD, or EdD
- Must plan to continue enrollment in the upcoming fall semester
- Applicants may reside outside Pennsylvania if attending a Pennsylvania-based nursing school
- Previous recipients are eligible to reapply
Application Process
- Complete the online application through the scholarship portal during the application window.
- Include proof of acceptance if you are beginning a nursing program.
- Optionally submit documentation demonstrating financial need.
- Ensure all materials are submitted by March 31st.
In addition to the completed application form, applicants are required to provide a current official transcript and a personal photo. Optional documentation that attests to the applicant’s financial need may also be submitted. Students just beginning their nursing education journey are also required to provide a letter of acceptance to the school where they will attend classes in the fall.
