The Nigerian Women Associa1on of Georgia (NWAG) plans to award 5 one-time scholarships, to High School Students in Georgia in the amount of One Thousand Dollar ($1,000.00). The award is sponsored by the Georgia Plas1c Founda1on.
Scholarship Details
- Sponsored by the Georgia Plastic Foundation
- Five scholarships awarded annually
- Each scholarship provides $1,000
- Open to high school students in the state of Georgia
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a high school student in Georgia
- Must complete the full scholarship application
- Must submit required recommendation letters and supporting documents
- Must write an essay addressing the provided topic on renewable energy and economic growth in Nigeria
Application Process
- Complete the online application form using the provided scholarship link.
- Obtain two letters of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, religious leader, or community leader.
- Obtain one additional recommendation letter from a school dean or department head.
- Provide a copy of your current high school identification card.
- Write a brief statement explaining why you need and deserve the scholarship.
- Submit a typed, double-spaced essay on the provided topic.
- Application deadline is April 30th
n addition, NWAG annually supports seventeen orphanages across various states in Nigeria with their nutritional program across Nigeria and has issued over 1,000 scholarships to well deserving students in Nigeria.
