The Ohio JCI Senate C & E Foundation is made up of the life members of the Ohio JCI Senate who were members of the U.S. Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees).
Scholarship Details
- Academic-Based Category awards two $1,000 scholarships
- Top two Academic-Based recipients advance to national scholarship consideration
- National academic scholarships range from $1,500 to $2,000 for selected students
- Need-Based Category awards at least two $1,000 scholarships
- One Need-Based award is designated for residents of Allen, Putnam, or Van Wert counties
- Vocational Category awards one $1,000 scholarship
- Top Vocational applicant advances to national vocational scholarship consideration
- National vocational scholarships award $1,000 to selected students attending trade or technical schools
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a graduating high school senior
- Must be attending an accredited college, university, or vocational or trade school in the United States
- Must apply in only one scholarship category
- Need-Based applicants may be evaluated on financial circumstances
- Vocational applicants must plan to attend a vocational, technical, or trade school
- Designated Need-Based award requires residency in Allen, Putnam, or Van Wert counties
Application Process
- Select one scholarship category in which to apply
- Complete the required application form for the current cycle
- Attach the category selection page to the top of the application
- Submit the completed application by mail before the January 12th deadline
- Await judging, which will take place on January 31st
- Winners will be notified by letter only
