The Ohio News Media Foundation University Journalism Scholarship is offered to a student currently enrolled and majoring in a field relevant to our industry, particularly journalism, advertising, marketing, or communications degree program at an Ohio college or university. To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must: have a GPA of at least a 2.5; and they must be currently enrolled as a sophomore, junior or senior for the upcoming academic year.
The Ohio News Media Foundation, in alignment with its mission of achieving the highest standards of excellence and professionalism in all phases of journalism and newspaper publishing, awards scholarships to high school and collegiate students annually. The foundation provides funding through a variety of events and donations to this fund.
