The Oklahoma National Guard Educational Assistance Program provides financial assistance for higher education to eligible members of the Oklahoma National Guard. This program was established by the Oklahoma Legislature in 2022.
Scholarship Details
- Financial assistance covering resident tuition, mandatory fees, and academic service fees
- Limited to 18 credit hours per semester
- Undergraduate programs: up to 120 hours or a bachelor’s degree
- Graduate programs: up to 40 hours or a master’s degree
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an active member of the Oklahoma National Guard in good standing
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must be admitted to and enrolled in an Oklahoma public college or university
- To retain the scholarship, recipients must:
- Maintain good academic standing at their institution
- Participate satisfactorily in the National Guard
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0
Application Process
- Submit an application through the Educational Service Office of the Military Department
- Application deadlines:
- January 31st for Spring semester funding
- August 31st for Fall semester funding
