The Balanced Man Scholarship is a scholarship offered to incoming men at Ohio State looking to achieve a balanced lifestyle in college. All Balanced Man Scholarship applicants are invited to be a part of the Balanced Leadership Success Series, a cohort of events such as a tour of the Schottenstein Center, speeches from business leaders in Columbus, and much more. Receiving the scholarship in no way binds you to SigEp or Greek life.
The Ohio Gamma Chapter at The Ohio State University was founded on January 30, 1908. In our years at Ohio State, we have seen many significant awards from the university and the national fraternity. In the early 2000s, Sigma Phi Epsilon became the first Greek-letter organization at Ohio State to be selected as an “Outstanding Student Organization” in several decades, recognized out of more than 1,000 registered student organizations. Our chapter has also held one of the top GPAs in the Greek Community over the past 10 years with an average of 3.59.
