Ohio State University's Stamps Eminence Scholarship Program is a full-tuition scholarship for OSU Honors Program students deeply engaged in academia, community service, communications, and changemaking.
Scholarship Details
- The Stamps Eminence Scholarship Program is merit-based, with no consideration to financial need.
- Up to 8 semesters of full-time enrollment at OSU are covered.
- Additional enrichment grant funding of up to $5,000 is also available.
- Recipients have access to cohort-based living and a network of faculty connections.
Eligibility Criteria
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Strong academic profile, including:
- High GPA
- Challenging course enrollment
- Research or equivalent experience
- High ACT or SAT score
- Top 10% of class
- Community service, leadership, and extracurricular experience
Application Process
- Apply to OSU before the Fall early action deadline via the Common Application
- Note interest in OSU's Honors or Ohio State Scholars Program in your application
- Once the application is submitted, activate your OSU account to access the Stamps Eminence application
- Fill out the Stamps Eminence application, including the essay and video introduction
- Submit the application in advance of the deadline
- If chosen as a finalist, attend a virtual interview and the in-person Finalist Friday event in February
- If chosen as a recipient,
- Maintain University Honors Program status every semester
- Participate in community engagement as outlined by OSU
- Complete an Honors thesis or capstone project
- Attend all required Stamps Eminence Program events
Founded in 2006 by E. Roe and Penny Stamps, the OSU Stamps Eminence Scholarship Program encourages excellence through college and beyond. Alumni of the program are highly esteemed; their success follows them for the rest of their lives.
