Scholarship Description

Education is vital to the growth and future of every community. Because of this, the Saginaw Community Foundation administers a variety of scholarship programs for high school, community college, university and vocational students. Since awarding our first $500 scholarship in 1987, the Saginaw Community Foundation has awarded more than $8 million in scholarships. To be eligible for the Pam Thompson Scholarship in Chemistry, applicants must: demonstrate an interest in chemistry; be a graduating senior from Arthur Hill High School, with a 2.5 GPA; and, be enrolled in an undergraduate program during the upcoming year. Awards will be based on recommendations from teachers about their achievements in chemistry, and on students' statements of how their work in chemistry has contributed to their learning. Dollar amounts for the scholarship will vary.
