The Paula Ford-Martin Memorial Fund awards annual scholarships to outstanding young champions for the LGBTQIA+ community. Applicants must be in their final year at a secondary/high school, a high school graduate who has not yet begun an academic/professional curriculum; or a student enrolled in at least 6 credit-hours at an accredited university, college, technical/vocational program, or other academic/professional pursuit.
Scholarship Details
- Deadline to apply is May 15th
- Selection is based primarily on involvement with the LGBTQIA+ community
- Financial need, academic and personal achievement, and future community plans are also considered
Eligibility Criteria
- Must identify as LGBTQIA+ or be an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 23
- Must study in or reside within the United States
- Must be one of the following: a high school senior, a high school graduate not yet enrolled in a program, or a student currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or vocational program
Application Process
- Complete the application form in full
- Prepare any required supporting information related to community involvement, achievements, and future goals
- Submit the completed application by May 15th
Scholarships are awarded primarily on the basis of involvement with the LGBTQIA+ community. Financial need, academic/personal achievement, and plans for future community involvement are also considered. Applicants will be notified of the Paula Ford-Martin Memorial Fund’s decision no later than August 1st.
