Administered by Phoenix AISES, this scholarship is made available to American Indian, Alaskan Native, and Native Hawaiian high school seniors and college students who attend an accredited two-year or four-year college/university in the state of Arizona who are majoring in STEM disciplines. Awards will be based on academic achievement, student activities, and community service. The scholarship will be a one-time award of $500 or $1,000 paid directly to the recipients' school of choice. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA.
The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is a national, nonprofit organization focused on substantially increasing the representation of American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders, First Nations and other indigenous peoples of North America in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) studies and careers. The Phoenix AISES Scholarship program awards college scholarships to Native American, Alaskan Native, and Native Hawaiian full-time college students and high school seniors attending or accepted into an Arizona college and university that meet qualifications who are currently studying a STEM-related major.
