A $2,500 scholarship award will be given each year to an individual as chosen by the PMI MN Outreach Committee. Scholarship Details
- One $2,500 scholarship is awarded annually
- The recipient is selected by the PMI-MN Outreach Committee
- Preference is given to applicants pursuing a degree in project management
- Selection considers academic achievement, co-curricular activities, volunteer experience, community service, and potential for long-term success
- Active engagement and participation in PMI-MN may receive favorable consideration
- The application deadline is November 30th
- The estimated scholarship award date is February 28th
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have applied and been accepted to or currently be enrolled in an accredited degree, certificate, or continuing education program in the project management field
- Must be a PMI-MN member in good standing or be sponsored by a PMI-MN member in good standing
- Applicants who are not PMI-MN members must reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, or North Dakota
- Must not have previously received a PMI-MN scholarship
- Must demonstrate enthusiasm for and a strong interest in project management
Application Process
- Complete the PMI-MN Scholarship application.
- Provide a copy of your school transcript if you have taken classes within the past five years or submit a CV.
- If you are not a current PMI-MN member, obtain a sponsor letter from a PMI-MN member in good standing.
- Submit up to three letters of recommendation.
- Include any additional supporting documentation that demonstrates how you meet the scholarship requirements.
- Submit all required application materials electronically by November 30th.
