Each year, the Preventive Measures (PM) Foundation awards up to 45 human services students with $2,000 through the PM Legacy Scholarship.
Scholarship Details
- Funds from the PM Legacy Scholarship award are sent directly to recipients' institutions via wire transfer.
- Winners may be featured on the PM Foundation's website.
- Winners are chosen based on merit only; no financial need is considered.
Eligibility Criteria
- Enrolled in or currently attending college
- Minimum GPA of 2.5
- Either:
- attend school or reside in the D.C. metropolitan area,
- attend school or reside in Georgia,
- attend school or reside in Pennsylvania,
- or attend a recognized HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities)
- Major in a Human Services field, including:
- Psychology
- Counseling
- Social Work
- Sociology
- Medicine
- Nursing
- Home Health
- Public Health
- Public Administration
Application Process
- Ensure you meet all the scholarship eligibility requirements
- Gather required documents, including:
- Academic transcripts
- 2 letters of recommendation
- A recent headshot
- 500-1,000 word essay about the impact of Human Services on humanity
- Contact information for your institution's financial aid office
- Submit your completed application and all required documents in advance of the deadline
