Unique among high school competitions, the Regeneron STS focuses on identifying, inspiring, and engaging the nation’s most promising future leaders in STEM. Each year, around 2,600 students enter Regeneron STS, submitting original research in critically important scientific fields of study and full application for holistic review.
Scholarship Details
- Focus: Identifying and inspiring future leaders in the field of science
- Total Annual Awards: $3.1 million
- First Place Prize: $250,000, the largest academic prize available to a U.S. high school student
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be in their final year of high school.
- They should be completing the necessary high school courses for college applications.
- Applicants must not have graduated from high school before the Regeneron STS application deadline.
- Previous participation in any prior STS is not allowed.
