The RERF Veteran's Stipend Program was created to provide financial support to veteran's who are pursuing formal training in a personal development program. The funds can be used to cover expenses, such as living expenses or childcare, which are often not permitted through traditional government or financial aid programs. Applicants don’t need to be associated with the recycling industry or pursuing a career in recycling, it’s open to all Veterans. Eligible for renewal for up to 4 years.
Applications must be submitted to RERF no later than the specified due date. Recipients will be announced and notified on Veteran's Day. The stipend of $2,500 shall be paid directly to the individual and is renewable for up to 4 years, upon request and renewal application. The award is to aid an individual veteran. An honorable discharge from the United States Armed Services is required.
