Scholarship Description

The Robert and Joanne Koch Scholarship for Architecture will provide a scholarship to a graduating high school senior. The student must be from one of the following three Central Florida counties: Orange, Osceola, or Seminole. The scholarship will be awarded based on merit. The award can be applied to tuition, board, and/or other mandatory educational fees. Awards will be made payable to the educational institution only. Applicants must have a 3.5 GPA. Only students who have already been accepted into an educational institution are eligible to apply.

Robert Koch, co-founder of Fugleberg Koch, has offered industry architectural leadership through participation in professional associations, civic organizations, and industry educational forums for more than a half century. Together with Joanne, his wife, they oversaw public messaging of “lessons learned” via a white paper program that has earned acknowledgement as valued references in the housing and hospitality industries. In honor of their commitment to professional learning and sharing, this tribute is offered.
