The Robert J. Frankel Scholarship is available to a student attending a college or university in California or New York state, pursuing any field of study, whose family is employed in the Thoroughbred industry.
Scholarship Details
- Award amount: $5,000
- Open to students attending college in California or New York
- Available for any field of study
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have a parent employed in the Thoroughbred industry
- Must reside in and/or attend college in California or New York
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.85
- Must have an annual household income of $75,000 or less or be financially independent
Application Process
- Complete the scholarship application.
- Submit a current official transcript (seal may be broken or sent directly by the school).
- Provide a resume.
- Submit a FAFSA form.
- Application deadline: May 8th
This $5,000 scholarship will benefit a deserving student through a partnership between The Race For Education and the Robert J. Frankel family trust. Applications will not be accepted without required attachments.
