For the S.C. International Trade Conference Scholarships, applicants must either be South Carolina residents or attending an accredited college, university or trade school in South Carolina. All applicants must demonstrate interest in International Trade, Supply Chain Management or Business and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. The Margaret A. Patrick & W. Don Welch Scholarship is offered to current undergraduates. The Joy Latta Scholarship is awarded to students in technical or trade school. The Harry J. Wamboldt Scholarship is for high school seniors. The number of total recipients will vary.
Besides completing the application, applicants must also include: a transcript; a brief narrative or typewritten paragraph explaining why they should receive the scholarship; and one written recommendation from an instructor. The South Carolina International Trade Conference has a rich history and wide breadth of participation from companies representing maritime commerce, logistics and the greater supply chain.
