The Sachs Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship provides financial assistance to Black high school seniors in Colorado pursuing an undergraduate degree. Scholarship recipients can receive between $10,000 and $12,500 per year for up to four years, totaling $40,000 to $50,000. The award can be applied toward any accredited institution where the student is enrolled full-time. Applications are available annually from January 1 to March 15.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a Black high school senior
- Must be a full-time Colorado resident for at least three years
- Military dependents stationed in Colorado may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Application Process
- Complete the online application between January 1 and March 15.
- Submit a full high school transcript.
- Provide two letters of recommendation from individuals not related to you.
- Write a one-page personal statement and an additional essay (350-500 words).
- Submit your Student Aid Report (SAR) from FAFSA.
- Provide information from your household’s latest tax return.
- Optional: Include an additional educational, artistic, or professional file.
- Ensure all application materials are submitted by March 15. Letters of recommendation must be received by March 31.
