San Diego State has over 700 scholarship opportunities to support our students’ educational goals. Funding for our scholarships has been provided by generous donors to SDSU who believe in higher education and your ability to achieve academic success. SDSU maintains a strict policy of non-discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, religious creed, sex, gender identification, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, age, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic in the administration and awarding of scholarships.
SDSU offers a limited number of scholarships each year to qualified first-year students on top of our already very affordable tuition. Students accepted to our Presidential Scholars program may be eligible for a scholarship over four years. The scholarship application is available by invitation-only and qualified first-year applicants are notified in December and January if they are eligible for consideration. Applications run from April until the deadline.
