Eligibility Criteria
- Must be female and a graduating high school senior
- Must have a cumulative unweighted GPA of at least 3.3
- Must plan to enroll in an accredited U.S. college or university
- Must demonstrate financial need and file a FAFSA
- Must have active involvement in the sport of golf (not based on skill level)
Application Process
- Complete the Sara Scholarship Application form
- Request and include an official high school transcript with senior year Fall semester grades
- Write and include a personal essay as outlined in the application
- File a FAFSA and include the resulting Student Aid Report (SAR) with your Student Aid Index (SAI)
- Submit one letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, administrator, or local business/professional person
- Place all application materials in a single envelope and ensure it is postmarked by April 30th
