Scholarship Details
- Multiple scholarships awarded annually based on available funds
- Scholarships may be renewable
- Supports students pursuing majors in nursing, social work, medical technology, or biology
- Intended to honor the legacy and impact of organ and tissue donation
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a New Jersey resident
- Must be currently enrolled in a U.S. college or university
- Must be majoring in nursing, social work, medical technology, or biology
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must meet one of the following:
- Be an advocate for organ and tissue donation
- Have a personal connection to organ and tissue donation
- Have an interest in a career in donation and transplantation
- Employees, board members, scholarship committee members, and their immediate family members are not eligible
Application Process
- Confirm eligibility based on residency, major, GPA, and connection to organ and tissue donation
- Complete the scholarship application form provided by the Sharing Network Foundation
- Write a compelling essay that reflects your advocacy, connection, or interest in the field of organ and tissue donation
- Submit your application by the specified deadline (refer to the Foundation's website for current dates)
- Wait for notification of scholarship decisions
