Scholarship Description

We are pleased to announce the availability of multiple scholarships for current college students studying health sciences. Scholarships & scholarship amounts are based on available funds. Awards may be renewed.

Scholarship Details

  • Multiple scholarships awarded annually based on available funds
  • Scholarships may be renewable
  • Supports students pursuing majors in nursing, social work, medical technology, or biology
  • Intended to honor the legacy and impact of organ and tissue donation

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a New Jersey resident
  • Must be currently enrolled in a U.S. college or university
  • Must be majoring in nursing, social work, medical technology, or biology
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must meet one of the following:

    • Be an advocate for organ and tissue donation
    • Have a personal connection to organ and tissue donation
    • Have an interest in a career in donation and transplantation
  • Employees, board members, scholarship committee members, and their immediate family members are not eligible

Application Process

  1. Confirm eligibility based on residency, major, GPA, and connection to organ and tissue donation
  2. Complete the scholarship application form provided by the Sharing Network Foundation
  3. Write a compelling essay that reflects your advocacy, connection, or interest in the field of organ and tissue donation
  4. Submit your application by the specified deadline (refer to the Foundation's website for current dates)
  5. Wait for notification of scholarship decisions
