The Sheep Heritage Foundation Memorial Scholarship provides financial support for a graduate student pursing a sheep-related study that will support the advancement of the U.S. sheep industry, lamb and wool. To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must: be a United States citizen; have involvement in sheep and/or wool research in such areas as animal science, agriculture economics or veterinary medicine; and be enrolled in an institution located in the United States.
Apart from completing the application, applicants must: submit two 250-word max. essays (one that summarizes their past work and research accomplishments in the field that they propose to pursue, and one that describes their specific research project and give reasons for pursuing it); proof of acceptance/enrollment into their graduate school; and two letters of reference.
