Sigma Psi Zeta is excited to open applications for our annual Aurora Scholarship. The Aurora Scholarship aims to promote womxn empowerment and create leaders at Wichita State University and within the local community. The Aurora Scholarship will be awarded to full-time Wichita State students (current and incoming) who have demonstrated advocacy in our community. To be eligible, students are required to have a 3.0 GPA. Applicants must not be a previous recipient.
Besides completing the application, applicants must also submit: a resume; a fall schedule; a high school transcript or unofficial college transcript; and a 300-500 Word Essay (MLA Format) on an assigned topic. Our vision is to provide success and support for womxn, particularly those of color. We aim to be a community of pioneers and innovators offering opportunities for womxn to develop professional and personal skills in service of education, cultural awareness, and our philanthropy, which is to combat violence against womxn.
