Scholarship Description

The Stockton Student Athletes Scholarship Fund was created to support high school seniors from Stockton who plan to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. This scholarship is designed to encourage students who are balancing academics with athletics while pursuing an undergraduate degree in any field of study.

Scholarship Details

  • Up to two scholarships awarded annually
  • Each scholarship valued at $1,500 per year
  • Renewable for up to four years, totaling up to $6,000
  • Supports students who will play sports at the collegiate level

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a high school senior at a school located in the City of Stockton
  • Must plan to pursue an undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university
  • Must be accepted to play a collegiate-level sport at the institution
  • Must provide a letter verifying acceptance to play sports at the college/university level
  • Must submit a current letter of recommendation from a coach or teacher
  • Must write and submit an essay explaining why playing college sports is important to your career goals

Application Process

  1. Confirm eligibility as a Stockton high school senior with plans to play collegiate sports
  2. Complete the scholarship application form
  3. Obtain a verification letter confirming acceptance to play a sport at the collegiate level
  4. Request a current letter of recommendation from a high school coach or teacher

The Stockton Student Athletes Scholarship Fund provides student-athletes with the opportunity to pursue higher education while continuing their athletic journey.
