The Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarships are designed to recognize and reward the great steps students are taking to fight hunger in our communities across the United States. National Scholarship winners receive a $10,000 scholarship and a $5,000 grant for their hunger-related charity.
Scholarship Details
- National scholars receive a $10,000 academic scholarship

- National scholars attend the Sodexo Charity Classic May 5th - May 7th in Scottsdale, Arizona
- The annual application period runs from August 20th through October 20th
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be between the ages of 5 and 25
- Must be actively working to address hunger or food insecurity in their community
- Should demonstrate leadership in hunger-relief efforts
- Should demonstrate creativity in developing or supporting solutions to hunger
- Should be able to demonstrate the impact of their hunger-relief activities
Application Process
- Prepare information describing your efforts to address hunger or food insecurity in your community.
- Describe the leadership, creativity, and initiative demonstrated through your hunger-relief activities.
- Explain the impact your work has made and how you have raised awareness or mobilized others to address hunger.
- Complete the Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarship application or nomination during the annual application period.
- Submit all required materials by October 20th.
